The new daytime economy.

RestHourly was built on a simple idea: the most beautiful homes in our cities sit empty for the best hours of the day. We’re changing that — for hosts, for guests, and for the way we use space.

Our story.

RestHourly began in a sun-filled flat in Bermondsey in 2024, when our founder, Priya, realised that her home was empty between 9 and 5 every weekday — and that her neighbour, who ran a small design studio, was paying to rent a stuffy office down the street.

The exchange that followed lasted four hours and felt obvious. Priya earned a little extra. Her neighbour got a beautiful, quiet workspace with a kitchen and a garden. And we realised this small experiment scaled: across London alone, hundreds of thousands of square metres of premium residential space sits unused during the working day.

Today, RestHourly connects thousands of guests and hosts across the UK in a marketplace built entirely around daytime use. It’s a smaller, calmer, more honest sort of hospitality — and we think it’s the future.

What we stand for.

Three principles that guide every decision we make.

Homes, not hotels.

We're a marketplace for real, lived-in spaces. Every listing is curated to feel like a home — not a transaction.

Time as a feature.

We price by the hour, not the night. It's a small change with big consequences — for affordability, sustainability, and freedom.

A two-sided promise.

Hosts deserve fair earnings. Guests deserve dignified spaces. We don't optimise for one for the other.

The people behind it.

A small, distributed team based across London, Manchester and Lisbon.
